Grand Circus Hotel Awards

Every year we award a prize to an artist who works in the same spirit as the circus hotel. The first prize ever was rewarded in April 2025, and went to the artist duo Anonymouse. The jury’s motivation sounded like this:

“Never has the expression ‘to see the big one in the small’ fit as well as in their art. It starts as a wink in the eye. Something that should not be there is there, and then it grows into a whole world. A whole world also became childishly delighted and seduced by your invention. You make Malmö and the world a more magical place!”

The artist also undertakes to create this year’s poster, which is sold at the reception in favor of the winner. This is this year’s poster:
